1. Call Regular Board Meeting to Order
2. Discuss/Consider and Act on Board Minutes
· August 27, 2009
3. Review of Financial Report: Jason Weeks
· August, 2009
4. Conduct a public hearing to discuss, consider and act on application #09-09 as submitted by McKinney Boys & girls Club requesting five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) for renovation and repair of Club building
· Tanya Greene, Chief Executive Officer
5. Conduct a public hearing to discuss/consider and act on application #09-10 as submitted by City of McKinney Fire Department requesting two hundred thirty-four thousand, twenty three dollars ($234,023) for restoration of 1924 fire engine, bronze statue, restoration work, and computer equipment
· Mark Wallace, Fire Chief
6. Discuss and consider Executive Directors report on existing projects or new project applications, legislative initiatives and MCDC events
7. Report of meetings, events of other Boards/Entities by Liaisons:
· Parks and Recreation: T.J. Lane
· MEDC: Jim Young, Carrie Alfieri
· Chamber of Commerce: Bill Campbell
8. The MCDC will now hold a closed Executive Session meeting, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, in accordance with the authority contained in:
1. Section 551.071(2) – Consultation with Attorney on any Special or Regular Session agenda item requiring confidential, attorney/client advice necessitated by the deliberation or discussion of said items (as needed)
2. Section 551.087 – Deliberation regarding Economic Development Negotiations – Project #A-45-Gateway Town Center
9. The MCDC will now reconvene into regular Session, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, to take any action necessary regarding the following:
1. Section 551.071(2) – Consultation with Attorney on any Special or Regular Session agenda item requiring confidential, attorney/client advice necessitated by the deliberation or discussion of said items (as needed)
2. Section 551.087 – Deliberation regarding Economic Development Negotiations – Project #A-45-Gateway Town Center
