Special Board Meeting

December 8, 2009

            The McKinney Community Development Corporation (MCDC) met in special session in room 110 at Rick’s Chophouse located at 107 North Kentucky, McKinney, Texas, at 6:00 P.M. on December 8, 2009.

            Board members present were Chair Ray Eckenrode, Vice-chair Bill Campbell, James Lane, Kevin Griffin, George Fuller, and Jason Burress.  Staff present was administrative assistant Connie Gibson.  Board member Tracy Rath, and council liaison Geralyn Kever were absent.

            Mr. Eckenrode called the meeting to order at 6:30 P.M. 

            The first order of business was to discuss, consider and possible action on the selection of an executive search service to facilitate the hiring of a new Executive Director.  The motion was made by Bill Campbell to have the board chairman enter into negotiations with the selected search firms that had been discussed in Executive Session.  The motion was seconded by Kevin Griffin.  The motion was voted on and passed unanimously (6-0).

            James Lane made the motion to increase the administrative assistant’s salary to the amount discussed during the MCDC board retreat.  The motion was seconded by George Fuller.  The motion was voted on and passed unanimously (6-0).

            Mr. Eckenrode called for a motion to adjourn the meeting.  The motion was made by Jason Burress, and seconded by Bill Campbell.  The motion passed unanimously  (6-0).

            The motion was adjourned at 6:47 P.M.
