In 2007 MCDC Provided funds for the construction of a meeting hall and maintenance building in historic Pecan Grove Memorial Cemetery.  The 1840’s era’s design multi-purpose facility will seat 150 people, and may be used for meetings, funerals, and even weddings.  This facility will serve as a focal point for visitors to the cemetery and to the community.  The maintenance will provide much needed storage for the cemetery equipment, as well as office space and a public restroom.
